KNOLLSEA B&B IS A homely bed & breakfast in Swanage, a beautiful family-orientated coastal resort on Dorset’s south coast, situated at the gateway to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site. Popular with all age groups, and with plenty to see and do whatever the weather, Swanage is the perfect base to explore the Purbeck countryside.
We have three bedrooms - two doubles and a twin - which are all en-suite, and all well-equipped to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. We have a large breakfast room/guest lounge with dining tables, large sofas and a television. Our breakfasts include good quality cereals, toast, a selection of jams, marmalade and local honey, a fruit bowl, fruit juice, tea and cafetiere coffee. If you like yoghurts, croissants or anything particular and have any dietary requirements please let us know.
There is parking for three cars on our paved driveway as well as plentiful on-road parking. The surrounding area, despite its sometimes hilly nature, is very popular with cyclists, and we have storage for bicycles if required.
We are close to a footpath leading to Ballard Down and the coastal path to Old Harry Rocks and over to Studland’s Beaches. We are just a 10-minute walk away from Swanage’s North Beach with its small café for drinks and ice creams; it is usually less crowded here than the beaches near town.
There is a choice of two hotels, two pubs and a restaurant all within a 5-10 minutes walk. It is a 20-minute walk to town along the seafront, where there is a wide choice of restaurants, pubs and bars, as well as interesting shops, galleries, amusements, the Victorian Pier, the Stone Quay and, of course, the sandy, award-winning beaches. |
